Shark Food Web
In this food web there are many animals involved. In this food web the arrows represent an energy transfer between the two organisms. The food web starts with the Phytoplankton which is consumed by two other organisms. The Zooplankton, the Fish and the Mussels. If we go in the direction of the Zooplankton it continous onto the fish. Which can be eaten by a Fish, the fish can be eaten by a Shark, or a Human. If the Fish is eaten by a Shark it then can be continued to be eaten by a Human, where the cycle ends. Then if, going back to the Phytoplankton, we can skip the Zooplankton and just have the Phytoplankton be eaten by a Fish and it will still follow the same pathway as if the Zooplankton was involved. Then if go in the direction with the Mussels we can either go onto the Octopus, a human, or a Seagull. Once the Mussels go onto the Human it then ends because no other organism can eat a human. Going with the Octopus from the Mussels, the Octopus can then also be eaten by a human or it can be eaten by a Shark. Then going from the Octopus to the Shark, the Shark can also then go to the human. But if we go back to the Mussels to the Segull it ends there with the Segull since, similar to the Human, it cannot be eaten by any other organism. The going back to the Mussels again it can then be eaten by a Starfish. Then from the Starfish it can be eaten by a Shark, which then can be eaten by a human. Where again it ends since Humans cannot be eaten by another organism. The food web can then be started with a different organism. It can be started with Alge. Alge it can be eaten by Limpits, which can be eaten by an Octopus, or a Starfish. If continue with the Octopus the Octopus then can be consumed by a Human. Where the transfer can then end. Yet if we go in the direction with the Starfish, it then can be eaten by a Shark, which then can be eaten by a Human. So anitinally every organism, with the exception of the Seqgull, ends with the Human.
Shark Trophic Pyramid
This Trophic Pyramid is a representation designed to show the productivity at each trophic level in a given ecosystem. It also displays the connections between primary producers and consumers of increasing trophic levels. The first level is the primary producers, which in this case is Photosynthetic Plankton. The next level is the primary consumers which consist of regular Plankton. The next level is the secondary consumer which have the Plankton-Eating fish. Then the last level, which is the Tertiary Consumers which are the Sharks and carnivorus fish.
Limiting Factors
Carrying CapacityBy definition carrying capacity is the number of a living organism that a region can support without enviornmental deradtion. There are 1 Great White Shark every .16 square miles.

A limiting factor is something that can prevent a specific species population from growing any larger. Some limiting factors For Great White Sharks are mainly Humans. The reason this is is because, when some fisherman fish they can fish up to a few hundred fish at a time. That limits the amount of food that the Great Whites can have. Humans are also a major limiting factor just dues to the fact that we hunt Great Whites for food. (Shark FIn Soup). Over 100 million sharks are killed each year by Humans alone. Humans can also hunt them for medical research, because a few years ago some docotrs believed that Shark cartalidge could cure cancer. The cartalidge is extracted from the Sharks head and fins. Thus killing many Sharks for this reason alone.
